I think it is so interesting that Charlotte Mason herself suggested that the children might be more interested in their lesson if they are allowed to choose the passage they are to copy. Lindafay, over on her Charlotte Mason Help blog, mentioned that she allowed her children to choose their passages within certain parameters, and following her lead in that tremendously helped my little learners last year.
